Netflix’s newest addition to its documentary playlist is a three-part docu-series ‘Myth & Mogul: John DeLorean’ season 1, all set to premiere on July 30.
Released initially on BBC4 in the UK, the three-episode special unveils the rise and fall of the engineer-turned-automotive icon, John DeLorean.
The upcoming documentary features exclusive interviews and unseen footage from Oscar-winning director D.A. Pennebaker that recounts DeLorean’s rise to fame in the automotive industry and subsequent legal troubles and bankruptcy issues.
The captivating series will also showcase interviews with DeLorean’s son, Zachary, and some of his peers.
The story behind the creator of the legendary DeLorean car, made famous by the “Back to the Future” films, will reappear once again on the screens to narrate the grandiose tale of greed and luxury that took over the 70s corporate world.
