Season 1 of Netflix original K-drama, My First First Love, left fans wanting more when it culminated with a cliffhanger.
Director Oh Jin-Seok’s confirmation of having filmed 16 episodes also hinted at a possible second season.
Netflix Korea has revealed that season 2 of My First First Love will officially hit the streaming platform on 26 July.
The cast of the show, including Ji-Soo, Jung Jin-Young, Jung Chae-Yeon, Kang Tae-Oh and Choi Ri, made the announcement themselves in a video uploaded to Netflix’s YouTube channel:
Fans who hoped it wouldn’t be the last that they’d see of Tae-Oh, Song-I and Do-Hyun are elated by the news.
The story will pick up where Season 1 left off, and follow along the journey of the protagonists as young adults.
