MX TakaTak is a new short video content app launched by MX player. This news comes right after after the government of India banned 59 Chinese apps including the popular video sharing giant TikTok.
After the ban, many companies have made a run for developing Short video platforms to replace TikTok with a made-in-India app and to fill the market void.
The app’s description on Google Play Store reads:
“MX TakaTak offers you real and fun videos that you can watch and share on social media. Browse all types of videos ranging from Dialogue Dubbing, Comedy, Gaming, DIY, Food, Sports, Memes and many more.”
Still in developmental stages, the app supports content in 9 different languages apart from English.
Users also have the option of sharing the short videos on different social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and more.
After the Galwan valley encounter between the Indian and Chinese forces which led to casualties on both sides, The Indian government has made a serious attempt to boycott Chinese goods within the Indian market.
