Ding Entertainment, the makers of the Arshad Warsi starrer Asur, have roped in actor Mrinal Dutt for their next web series.
Dutt confirmed on Wednesday that he has already begun shooting for the untitled series.
He said in a statement: “I am looking forward to working with this fantastic cast and to be associated with Ding entertainment. This has to be one of the most challenging parts I’ve played. The OTT space is opening new doors where talent is getting its due and that’s reassuring. I am glad to have these opportunities of working with such good teams, telling different stories.”
The web series will also star Satyadeep Mishra and South Indian actress Priyamani. Mishra has featured in films such as ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and the Radhika Apte-fronted ‘Phobia’. Most recently, he appeared in Netflix’s ‘Masaba Masaba’.
Meanwhile, Priyamani is currently gearing up for the release of the second season of ‘The Family Man’, in which she plays Manoj Bajpayee’s wife.
As for Dutt, the actor recently starred in Arati Kadav’s ’55km/sec’, opposite Richa Chadha. The short film released on Disney+ Hotstar on January 20.
