A new set of series and seasons is hitting your screens this month. Here’s a roundup of everything new and exciting this August:

  • Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj – Volume 4: Netflix

The hilariously investigative show is back on August 4. The show’s witty host Hasan Minhaj is ready to take on more current affairs about modern cultural and political landscape. The next six episodes are ready to air every Sunday starting August 4.
  • Sacred Games – Season 2: Netflix

The new season of the mind-blowing thriller had already revealed new faces and characters. The chronicles of Sartaj Singh and Ganesh Gaitonde continue as the web series makes a comeback on August 15. The new season is expected to have eight exciting episodes to take the story forward.
  • This is Football: Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video’s six-part documentary series is all set to break down the phenomenon of football from different parts of the world. From the youngest ever professional referee to Lionel Messi’s glory, the audiences are in for a treat starting August 2.

  • Four Weddings and a Funeral: Hulu

Hulu’s take on the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral released its first four episodes on July 31. The show is created by the widely popular The Office star Mindy Kaling and stars Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel. It will release new episodes every Wednesday.
  • GLOW – Season 3: Netflix

The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are all set to head to Vegas and this time with a new cast member. Thelma and Louise‘s Thelma AKA Geena Davis joins the new season that premieres on August 9. In addition, audiences will see their favourite Ruth Wilder, Debbie Eagen and Sam Slyvia return in glossy Las Vegas.
