‘Monster’ renewed for 2 more seasons by Netflix

Following the success of ‘Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer’, Netflix has renewed the ‘Monster’ series for two additional seasons.

‘Monster’ will now be an anthology show, and the subsequent seasons will each focus on a different notorious figure from history.

‘Dahmer — Monster’ is now the second-most watched season in the platform’s history (first 28 days), only behind the fourth season of ‘Stranger Things’.

The official synopsis for season 1 reads:

“Between 1978 and 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer gruesomely took the lives of seventeen innocent victims. DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is a series that exposes these unconscionable crimes, centered around the underserved victims and their communities impacted by the systemic racism and institutional failures of the police that allowed one of America’s most notorious serial killers to continue his murderous spree in plain sight for over a decade.”
