‘Money Heist’ wraps up final season with BTS photos

Úrsula Corberó, who plays Tokyo in Money Heist, shared behind-the-scenes pictures of the fifth and final season for the series on social media. The shots and the captions signified the wrapping up of the shooting phase.

The well-renowned Spanish series, La Casa De Papel, also known as Money Heist, is all set to release its fifth instalment on Netflix by the last quarter of 2021. This season will also serve as the finale to the grand heist.

The 10-episode season reprises the previous characters; Álvaro Morte (The Professor), Itziar Ituño (Lisbon), Najwa Nimri (Alicia Sierra), Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Miguel Herrán (Rio), Jaime Lorente (Denver), Esther Acebo (Stockholm), Rodrigo de la Serna (Palermo), Darko Perić (Helsinki), Hovik Keuchkerian (Bogotá) among the others.

The reason for the fifth season being the last for this hit-show according to Álex Pina, creator of ‘Money Heist’, is because of the increasing demand for the show’s actors that makes it hard for it to continue.

This crime thriller, which holds the current record for the most-viewed non-English title on Netflix, has been well admired for its insurgent heist, feminist themes, comedic components and intriguing story-telling.

In Season 4 of Money Heist, Sierra holds the Professor at gunpoint, concluding on a dramatic cliffhanger. Will the Professor make it through Season 5?
