Netflix’s upcoming family feature ‘Mixtape’ tells the story of a girl who is keen to find out about her late parents through the mixtape they left behind.

Synopsis

“In 1999, 12-year-old Beverly discovers a broken mixtape made by her late parents. She sets out to find the songs — and learn more about her mom and dad.”

Trailer

12-year-old Beverly finds a broken tape created by her late parents, who died in a car crash when she was still a baby. Her grandmother is reluctant to speak about her late daughter, and Beverly finds her discovery as an opportunity to know who her parents were. In the journey of fixing the broken mixtape and learning more about her parents, she finds her own identity.
