Netflix has released the trailer for its new horror-thriller series ‘Midnight Mass’. The series will premiere on Netflix on September 24.
‘Midnight Mass’ is a 7 episode horror series created by Mike Flanagan, who also created the famous Netflix Horror series, ‘The Haunting of Hill House’. The cast includes Zach Gilford, Kate Siegel, and Hamish Linklater.
The series is based on a small island community which begins to witness supernatural events after the return of Zach Gilford, a town native and the arrival of a new priest played by Hamish Linklater. Zach Gilford plays the role of a young man with a tarnished reputation who comes back to an unforgiving and unwelcoming community.
The people in the community begin relating the supernatural events with the arrival of the priest and a new religious movement begins to develop in the town which soon begins to rear its ugly head before the town residents.
The series also features Annabeth Gish, Michael Trucco, Samantha Sloyan, Henry Thomas, Rahul Kohli, Kristine Lehman among others.
