Synopsis
“Two high school kids want to start a heavy metal band in a high school where exactly two kids care about heavy metal. They try to find a bass player, and fail—but they do find a girl who is very good at cello. If the three of them can’t settle their differences and work together, they’re never going to win the Battle of the Bands.”
Trailer
Kevin and Hunter are euphoric when they find out about an upcoming music competition where they can prove their musical talent and taste, but they lack a bass player. Kevin approaches his romantic interest, Emily, a cellist, to help them. Hunter is much more flamboyant and has developed his whole personality around Metal.
Unsurprisingly enough, they have an altercation regarding what their band should look like. The question is, will they be able to put aside their differences and win the competition?
