Marvel’s ‘Eternals’ gets digital premiere date on Disney+ Hotstar

Marvel Studios’ ‘Eternals’ is set to digitally debut on Disney+ Hotstar, and will be available for streaming from January 12, 2022.

Based on the original comics created by Jack Kirby, it is the 26th feature film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in addition to being the third film to be released as part of Phase Four.

The movie chronicles the legendary race of superhuman creatures who arrived on Earth millennia ago to safeguard humanity from the Deviants, their evil equivalents. The Eternals need to come together after decades in hiding, so as to prepare the world for an event known as the “Emergence.”

On November 5, the film was released in theatres for the first time. Prior to its debut, it was stated that ‘Eternals’ would be exclusive to theatres for at least 45 days.

Directed by Chloé Zhao, the movie stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, and Kit Harington.
