The streaming giant, Netflix, has released a trailer for a new Malayalam movie titled, ‘Maniyarayile Ashokan‘. It is a romantic comedy which stars Jacob Gregory and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles.
Maniyarayile Ashokan has been directed by Shamzu Zayba and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under the Wayfarer Films banner alongside Gregory.
It is a love story of a common man played by Gregory which is based in superstition. The official description reads:
When his unlucky horoscope doesn’t bode well for his future wife, an earnest bachelor goes to surprising lengths to get the family he’s always wanted. Will the stars align?
The movie also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Krishna Shankar, Vijayaraghavan, Indrans, and Sudheesh, among others. It is set to premiere on Netflix on August 31.
