Official synopsis
“The snowy, ice-covered planet Coldfoot is home to a precious energy-rich ore called “Sig.” On the surface, the planet seems to be a crime-free utopia, but in reality prisoners are used for back-breaking Sig mining. Jim, a young prison guard, rushes to the site of a sudden mining accident to find a mysterious creature attacking the humans.”
Other details
An original plot by manga author Yasuo Ohtagaki was adapted for the anime. According to Netflix, Ohtagaki’s 3DCG sci-fi film was partially inspired by Aliens.

A briefing on the planet they are going to invade is delivered to a group of individuals wearing breathing suits. These individuals appear to be criminals who have been sent here to make up for their misdeeds.
But suddenly all of the individuals are attacked by a mysterious creature. All of their lives are in danger, and their prospects of escaping are quite slim because they don’t even know what they are up against.
