Netflix has announced that Madhuri Dixit’s digital debut ‘The Fame Game’, previously named ‘Finding Anamika’, will be available on the platform from February 24.
The official Netflix description reads: “Bollywood icon Anamika Anand has it all but is her life perfect or a perfectly crafted facade? In a world of glitz, glamour and fame – the lines of what is real and what is not can often be blurred. ‘The Fame Game’ will take us into the world of superstar Anamika played by Madhuri Dixit Nene”
The series has been produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, directed by Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli, and written by Sri Rao, who also serves as the showrunner.
Apart from the lead actress, the series stars Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Lakshvir Saran, Suhasini Muley and Muskkaan Jaferi in pivotal roles.
The announcement comes after the platform recently launched the debut series of another veteran actress, Raveen Tandon. The show, titled ‘Aranyak’. received positive reviews from viewers as well as critics.
