Lupin season 2 release window confirmed by Netflix

The release window for Netflix’s highly successful French mystery thriller web series ‘Lupin’ has been confirmed. It will come out in the summer of 2021.

Release in January this year, the series managed to claim the number 1 spot in Netflix top 10 rankings in 10 different countries.

It revolves around Assane Diop, a “gentleman thief” who follows the ways of Arsene Lupin, a French book character who is a gentleman thief as well.

Diop attempts to uncover the truth behind the arrest of his father, who he believes to have been framed for the theft of a diamond necklace.

With season 1 ending in such dire circumstances for Diop, part 2 will answer a lot of lingering questions for the viewers.

The cast for season 2 includes Omar Sy, Hervé Pierre, Nicole Garcia, Clotilde Hesme, Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Shirine Boutella and Soufiane Guerrab

Five episodes have been announced for part 2, same as the first. Episodes 6 and 7 of the series will be directed by Ludovic Bernard and the remaining three will be directed by Hugo Gélin.
