Love & Anarchy: Break the rules with Netflix’s upcoming Swedish series

Netflix will soon greet us with Scandinavian series, Love & Anarchy and going by first-impressions, the show heads at breaking stereotypes in a comical premise.

After Netflix announced Love & Anarchy in February 2020, it has now revealed an official trailer for the same. It will become the second Scandinavian series to be taken up by Netflix, after Quicksand that came out in November last year. Both the shows share the same Director-Writer, Lisa Langseth.

The web series will showcase a married consultant and mother of two, Sofie (Ida Engvoll) who meets young IT Technician Max (Björn Mosten). He challenges her to do some tasks that aren’t socially acceptable. This starts in a fun way after Max catches hold of Sophie’s little secret. It later goes to wreak havoc in their lives as they keep questioning societal norms.

Engvoll was earlier seen in the film A Man Called Ove, while for Mosten, the series will be his first. Langseth will serve as the head writer on the eight-part series together with Alex Haridi (QuicksandReal Humans) and is directing all episodes.

The main cast includes Johannes Bah Kuhnke , Björn Kjellman (Annika Bengtzon), Reine Brynolfsson (Spring Tide), and Gizem Erdogan (Alex). Langseth is an award-winning screenwriter who will oversee the major aspects of this production.

The series has been shot in Stockholm, and will air on Netflix worldwide on November 4.
