HBO Max has revealed that the musical special, ‘Lizzo: Live in Concert’ will stream on December 31, 2022. It was filmed during the singer’s The Special Tour at the famed Kia Forum in Inglewood.
The official longline states:
“Celebrate the new year with Emmy® and three-time GRAMMY-winning superstar, her band The Lizzbians and The Little Bigs, The Big Grrrls with special guests Cardi B, SZA and Missy Elliott for a spectacular show filled with lots of love, positivity and incredible music.”
It has been directed by Sam Wrench and produced by Kevin Beisler. The singer is also executive producing the special with her production company, Lizzobangers.
This musical special is an addition to the singer’s highly personal documentary, ‘Love Lizzo‘ that debuted on HBO Max on November 24, 2022.
