Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector to stream on SonyLIV

3 murders. One murderer. Through Rhyme’s brains and Sachs’ eyes, SonyLIV’s latest crime thriller, ‘Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector’ will join the clues to unmask the most infamous serial-killer of the last two decades. Streaming soon, SonyLIV announced the news of the Indian Premiere the crime thriller series through its official trailer.

Based on a novel, The Bone Collector by Jeffrey Reaver, the series will follow a special case of triple interlinked murders, investigated by NWPD officer Amelia Sachs, who seeks help from a disabled forensic expert and criminologist, Lincoln Rhyme, in solving them.

Russell Hornsby plays the role of Lincoln Rhyme in the series, while Amelia Sachs is played by Arielle Kebbel. Roslyn Ruff, Tate Ellington, Michael Imperioli are some names of the supporting cast. Although the book portrays Rhyme as a white character, the series have adapted him into a black man.

SonyLIV has made a comeback in the digital entertainment industry. And it is particularly keen with the representation of the Black Community through its shows. In the backdrop of the global BLM movement, it has made its statement by churning series like Lincoln Rhyme and For Life, that expands and normalises Black-led OTT content.

Produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios and Universal Television, ‘Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector’ initially premiered on NBC on January 10, 2020, and continued till March 13, 2020. However, in June 2020, it was cancelled after the first season.
