Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way and Apple sign first-look deal

Leonardo DiCaprio’s film and television production company Appian Way has signed a first-look deal with apple.

Appian Way was founded by DiCaprio in 2004 and is co-run by producer Jennifer Davisson. The multi-year deal includes television projects and documentaries for Apple.

The production house already has two titles lined up with the streaming giant. Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, starring DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, and the thriller web series Shining Girls, starring Elisabeth Moss.

It also boasts of some stellar films over the years, including DiCaprio’s The Revenant, The Wolf of Wall Street, The Aviator and Shutter Island.

Apple TV+ has been busy acquiring and producing titles to enhance its content library. Apart from bagging Tom Hanks’ film Greyhound, it also has series such as Ted Lasso and Greatness Code lined up.
