The first Indian pair who won at Wimbledon, will narrate stories and share anecdotes about their friendship and camaraderie; and their historic achievements and international acclaim. After a long stint of doubles partnership, the pair had a brief fallout earlier, but all seems sorted now.
A few days back Paes reminisced and tweeted their photo from the day and stated:
“22 years ago today, we became the first Indians to win @Wimbledon. As two young boys all we dreamt of was making our country proud! ??? @Maheshbhupathi #LeeHesh.”
Bhupathi in his reply to the tweet wrote:
“Hmmm ..That was special!! Do you think it’s time to write another chapter? @Leander #LeeHesh.”
This little exchange between the two created a buzz on the internet, leaving the fans speculating if the winning duo, had something of a reunion on the cards.
