Disney+ Hotstar has finally released an official trailer for Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer, “Laxmmi Bomb“.
Returning to this genre after Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Kumar is all set to play a man possessed by the ghost of a transgender woman and by the looks of the trailer, it is going to quite an explosive ride.
Showcasing an intricate blend of jumpscares and comedic timing, Laxmmi Bomb is a remake of a Tamil film titled, Kanchana. The official description reads:
“Get ready to witness the biggest explosion of laughter and fun! Aa rahi hai Laxmmi, kisi ko hasayegi, kisi ko darayegi. Gharwalon ke saath baith kar dekho.”
Apart from the horror-comedy aspect, the trailer also hints at the film being a revenge tale, with the ghost having her own agendas which will be revealed when the film drops on Disney+ Hotstar on November 9.
Directed by Raghava Lawrence, it also stars Lubna Salim and Rajesh Sharma.
Laxmmi Bomb is the fifth major Bollywood film to land on Disney+ Hotstar, following in the footsteps of Dil Bechara, Lootcase, Khuda Haafiz, and Sadak 2.
