Turkish romance drama ‘Last Summer’ or ‘Geçen Yaz’ is set to release on Netflix on July 9, 2021. The movie follows the life of a teen in the summer of 1996 in Southern Turkey.
Directed by Ozan Açıktan, ‘Last Summer’ will showcase the story of a 16-year old boy who visits his parents’ house in the summer, just like every year. Only this time, he desires to experience new feelings of love with his childhood sweetheart.
The Turkish film features a group of young people confronting love, life and heartbreaks while surrounded by the sun, waves, winds and rocky cliffs.
Written by Sami Berat Marçalı, the cast of the romance drama includes Süreyya Güzel, Kubilay Tunçer, Ece Çeşmioğlu, Fatih Şahin, Halit Özgür Sarı and Aslıhan Malbora.
