ZEE5 has released the trailer for ‘Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai?’. It is an original film following a dejected lover who pens down his feelings in a currency note that goes viral and the events that gradually unfold — love and rejection finds a new outlet.
Things take a turn when the fun-loving guy Sintoo (Jassie Gill) falls in love with her, and she accepts. What follows is a messy, confusing relationship with a dejected lover Sintoo, penning down his emotions on a currency note that goes viral.
Speaking about the trailer of her newest project, actress Surbhi Jyoti said:
“I absolutely loved the feel of the trailer, it looks so much fun and hilarious from start to end. When we announced the film, my social media was filled with messages about the trailer. Now since the trailer is out, I hope they enjoy it and send more love.”
Jassie Gill also shared his excitement about the project and said:
“I remember this incident created so much curiosity amongst the audience and nobody actually knew what exactly it was. The trailer looks exactly the way I imagined it when the script was narrated to me.”
The movie also marks the last work of late actor Surekha Sikri and showcases her in an important role.
Produced by Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Aksshay Jayantilal Gada, the film also features Vijay Raaz, Brijendra Kala, and Atul Srivastava.
The film is all set to hit the OTT platform on September 10.
