Kota Factory season 2 on Netflix: Release date, cast and teaser

TVF’s ‘Kota Factory’ is back with another season. The series, which is set to release on Netflix on September 24, just got a brand new teaser.

‘Kota Factory’ is India’s first black and white web series and captures the melancholic life of students who strive to succeed in competitive exams.

The first season of ‘Kota Factory’ gave a glimpse into the trials and tribulations of the students who prepare to get into one of India’s most prestigious institutions.

The follow-up season is set to return with the same cast and characters. The official synopsis reads: “It will follow the life of Vaibhav, a young student on his journey to Maheshwari – one of Kota’s leading training institutes, and how he tries to balance his friendships, his relationship with his mentor and the looming pressure of getting into IIT.”

In this season, Vaibhav leaves behind Jeetu Bhaiya, his friends and his love interest as he moves onto ‘greener pastures’.

The streamer released exclusive first look images for the new season as well:

Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Ahsaas Channa, Revathi Pillai, and Urvi Singh will reprise their respective roles. The student drama is directed by Raghav Subbu and produced by The Viral Fever.

Subbu said in an official statement: “Season 2 of Kota Factory will chronicle the journey of students at Kota and the struggles they face on a daily basis, which will make it more engaging and realistic. The compelling story and spectacular performances will keep the audience intrigued.”

While you wait for season 2, the first season of ‘Kota Factory’ has also started streaming on Netflix.
