The whodunit “Knives Out” is an A-list-turned-slay-list party starring Daniel Craig, Toni Collette, Chris Evans and Jamie Lee Curtis. It’s fun to watch super-serious actors get to misbehave.

The modern-day whodunit is exactly what you don’t expect out of a Sherlock.

The plot is a mix of mysteries and sarcasm filled barbs when detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) demystifies the demise of wealthy and shrewd novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer).

Things go haywire after Thrombey’s 85th birthday party at his mansion, when he is found dead the next morning.

An anonymous tip by someone who perhaps has ulterior motives enthrals Blanc in the murder-mystery.

The narration is a classic family fowl-play, with every single family member sniffing Thrombey’s inheritance.

Knives Out features a bandwagon of celebrated faces such as Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis and Katherine Langford amongst many others, in pivotal roles.
