Kirti Kulhari to lead Hotstar’s ‘Criminal Justice 2’

Kirti Kulhari has signed the second season of the Hotstar Special Criminal Justice after her highly appreciated performance in URI-The Surgical Strike and Mission Mangal.

She was recently seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Four More Shots, Please!

The Indian remake of a British original television series, Criminal Justice was networked by Hotstar and jointly directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Vishal Furia.

In the second season, both directors have also been replaced by Arjun Mukherjee and Rohan Sippy.

The thrill will return for a second season with the previous cast members Pankaj Tripathi (Madhav Mishra), Anupriya Goenka (Nikhat Hussain) and Mita Vashisht.

This BBC Studios India production released the first season on April 5, 2019 with 10 episodes.

The plot is framed around Aditya (Vikrant Massey) a cab driver who allegedly sleeps with his passenger Sanaya (Madhurima Roy).

When he wakes up, he finds Sanaya’s dead body in a pool of her blood with multiple stab wounds. The story then takes a major turn when Aditya is framed for the crime.

The second season will be holding similar plot.

Kulhari will also be seen in the remake of the Hollywood film The Girl on the Train with famous Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra in the leading role. The release dates will be announced after the nationwide lockdown.
