Khulke Jeene Ka: Dil Bechara’s new song about turning can’t into can

Sony Music India has launched a new song ’khulke jeene ka’ from the Dil Bechara album. It’s been a month since actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away and while sadness is still around, we are eagerly waiting to see Sushant’s magic on-screen for one last time.

The song fills in the emotions of living life free like a bird where Manny is teaching Kizie not to worry about things and enjoy small joys of life. The song gives a whole lot of ‘Live, Laugh and Love’ feel to its listeners backed through a lively picturization of the lyrics. Shot in Paris, the love capital of the world, Khulke Jeene Ka is about living life to the fullest!

Dil Bechara’s cheering number, “Khulke Jeene Ka” is composed by AR Rahman and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the vocals are sung by Arijit Singh and Shashaa Tirupati.

Dil Bechara director Mukesh Chhabra talking about “Khulke Jeene Ka”, said:

“This song is an integral part of the film and is shot all over Paris. The song is about the joy of living. There are so many memories from the shoot. All the fun we had. We foodies were in a city famous for its cuisine and we experimented with all kinds of food. Sushant who loved pasta tried all the best pasta in the city. After packup, we would go hunting for the best meals.”

Shashaa Tirupati, who has previously given vocals for many AR Rehman compositions in the south music industry said:

“Singing for A. R. Rahman for such a special film was exciting and surreal. The other thrill was that of co-singing with Arijit Singh, whom I admire for his versatility. Khulke Jeene Ka is a distinct track with a unique melody that slides like a rollercoaster ride. The lyrics of the song had certain words that I probably heard after a long time, such as beadab, latifa and saleeqa. These words have been embedded tastefully and in a very current way into the song. I had fun singing this duet and I can’t wait to know what listeners have to say about it.”

Dil Bechara’s title track is an anthem for the friendzoned hearts and the movie is scheduled to stream on Disney+Hotstar on 24 July.
