Vidyut Jamwal’s ‘Khuda Haafiz’ to get sequel

The action movie ‘Khuda Haafiz’, starring Vidyut Jamwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi is set to have a sequel, to be released on the big-screen.

Directed by Faruk Kabir, the first part was released on August 14 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Inspired by a real life incident, the movie is set against the backdrop of 2008 recession. The movie follows Sameer Choudhary‘s (Vidyut Jamwal) search for his missing wife in a foreign country which leads him to stumble upon dark secrets of human trafficking and flesh trade.

After its warm reception on the OTT platform, Panorama Studios has announced the release of the second part, under the name ‘Khuda Hafiz Chapter 2’.

The sequel will see the lead actors taking their story forward, with equal focus on romance and action this time.

The movie is slated for a theatrical release in first quarter of 2021.
