Kevin Hart returns with John Hamburg for Netflix’s ‘Me Time’

Kevin Hart has teamed up with John Hamburg for Netflix comedy ‘Me Time’. Hart’s 2018 hit Night School was also scripted by Hamburg.

John Hamburg is also known for writing the Meet the Parents comedies and directing ‘Along Came Polly’ in 2004. This time he will be writing, directing and producing Hart’s latest project.

The story of ‘Me Time’ revolves around a stay-at-home dad. While his kids and wife are away, he enjoys some ‘me time’, reconnecting with his former best-friend and spending a crazy weekend which brings trouble to his life.

Hamburg and Hart are also collaborating with Bryan Smiley and the duo’s HartBeat Productions. Lauren Hennessey and Joe Gatta will also executively produce.

The project is expected to go on the floor later this year. Kevin Hart and Netflix’s recent deal asks the actor to star and produce four feature along with first-looks.

Hart will soon be seen opposite Woody Harrelson in Sony’s Man from Toronto and Lionsgate’s Borderlands.
