I’m keen on doing a web series: Kareena Kapoor Khan

In a recent interview with renowned film critic, Anupama Chopra, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan expressed her interest in being a part of a web series.

Having announced her second pregnancy recently, Khan mentioned that she is planning to work again post the summer of 2021. On being asked if she was still looking at scripts, she mentioned reading scripts for films as well as web shows.

“I’ve been getting a lot of offers for digital shows, and I’m actually really keen to do one,” she said.

She mentioned being told that it is very different from theatrical films in terms of acting and performances as “You have to be so much more on the ball”.

Khan also highlighted some great web series which have been produced in our country including Mirzapur, Sacred Games, Delhi Crime, and Paatal Lok, praising them for being “so out there”.

“To pick the right one is going to be very very difficult but I’m hoping to do that in 2021 for sure,” she added.

The duo also discussed Khan turning 40 this year, her upcoming films, Laal Singh Chaddha and Takht along with the impact of the pandemic on the film industry.
