Kajol’s Netflix film ‘Tribhanga’ postponed to January 2021

Bollywood actor Kajol’s OTT debut film, ‘Tribhanga – Tedhi Medhi Crazy‘, has been postponed and will be releasing in January 2021, on Netflix.

The film’s writer-director, Renuka Shahane, has revealed in a statement that the post-production of the film is complete and it has been submitted to the streaming giant.

Shahane also informed that since most of the Netflix’s line-up was released this year, the release of ‘Tribhanga’ was, therefore, postponed. However, the exact release date is yet to be confirmed.

The film is a dysfunctional family drama. The plot is weaved in a complex manner. The audience will witness a family tale beginning in the 1980s to present-day modern times, focusing on three generations of the same family.

According to the official logline:

“Tribhanga is an Odissi dance pose that is asymmetrical, yet mesmerising and sensuous, so much like the lives of the three women characters of the film – Nayan, Anu and Masha.”

Kajol’s OTT debut is being produced by her husband Ajay Devgan’s production company, Ajay Devgn Films, along with Bannijay Asia, and Alchemy Productions.

This heartwarming family drama will also star Mithila Palkar, Tanvi Azmi, and Kunaal Roy Kapoor.
