SonyLIV has announced the digital premiere of the 2018 dark-comedy film, Kadakh. It is a story of secrets between couples and how things go dramatically ugly in an attempt to mask them.
The film follows Sunil getting a visit from a stranger when he is home alone. The stranger gets through the door posing as a distant relative but to Sunil’s surprise he is the husband of the woman with whom Sunil is having an affair.
The man who is scarily calm pulls out a gun to confront him about the relationship with his wife. One thing leads to another and the stranger shoots himself.
A series of dark yet funny events follow as guests show up at Sunil’s doorstep for a Diwali party. Each character brings a new perspective of humor to the screen.
Kadakh features Ranvir Shorey as the protagonist. The film also stars Mansi Multani, Cyrus Sahukar, Shruti Seth, Tara Sharma Saluja, Sagar Deshmukh, Nupur Asthana, Kalki Koechlin, Chandrachoor Rai, Palomi Ghosh, Manoj Pahwa, and Yamini Das in prominent roles.
Written and Directed by Rajat Kapoor, A three times national award winner, Kadakh is his seventh full length film.
