Timberlake plays Eddie who spots something different in Sam’s demeanor as he doesn’t identify with his gender. The film focus on Eddie’s struggle in convincing the world that he can be a good guardian to Sam. But Eddie’s past threatens to ruin his new life and family.

Talking about his role, Timberlake tweeted: “This story is really important to me and I’m proud to be part of it.”

The trailer does not reveal what crime led Eddie to do time in the first place. It will be a rare sight to see the singer-actor essay a serious and dramatic role.

Palmer is directed by Fisher Stevens, while the script is penned by Cheryl Guerriero. Palmer releases on Apple TV+ on January 29.
