Dwayne Johnson’s Jumanji: The Next Level to stream on Amazon Prime Video

Dwayne Johnson’s Jumanji: The Next Level, the sequel to Welcome to the Jungle, is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from May 10 to get the adrenaline going and provide solace in these anxious times.

The adventure-comedy movie, directed by Jake Kasdan, graduated from dice to consoles in 2017. The first Jumanji was a board game that brought the jungle to life on each dice roll and the only way to restore normalcy was to complete all tasks and make it to the titular city of gold.

The 2017 version magically evolved into a video game with a jungle set up.

Four teenagers get absorbed into the game and transform into avatars they choose, only to find a victim, Alex (Nick Jonas) already trapped in the game.

The movie ends with the four students bonding over their goofy antics and the obstacles they overcome together.

In 2019, Jumanji returned with the four teenagers played by Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan turning a regular brunch into another adventure and laughter-filled journey of their avatars in the virtual jungle.
