‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ to be led by Jude Law

Veteran actor Jude Law is set to star and lead the upcoming Disney+ series, ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’. It is being developed by MCU’s Spider-Man trilogy director, John Watts.

According to a report by Variety, the show was announced at the ‘Star Wars’ celebration in Anaheim, California. ‘Skeleton Crew’ has been described as a galactic version of classic coming-of-age adventure films from the ’80s.

John Watts, Christopher Ford, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will act as executive producers for ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ with Ford also responsible for writing it.

The celebration event revealed more news including the teaser and release date — August 31, 2022 — for the ‘Rogue One’ prequel series, ‘Andor’. It was confirmed that the ‘Ahsoka’ series alongside ‘The Mandalorian’ season 3 will premiere in 2023.

We also got teasers for ‘The Bad Batch’ season 2, ‘Tales of the Jedi’, and ‘Willow’, among other projects.
