JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean on Netflix: Anime to cover sixth arc

Netflix released the first trailer for ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean.’ Ai Fairouz will voice the new JoJo in the series that covers the sixth arc of the anime, and is officially the fifth season overall.

The anime will take place 10 years after the events of the Golden Wind. The first female ‘JoJo,’ Jolyne Cujoh, meets an accident that kills her boyfriend. Wrongfully framed, she is sent to prison for 15 years.

In the trailer she gets a visit from her father, Jotaro Kujo, who attempts to break her out of the prison. While doing so, he ends up awakening her string-based stance, Stone Free.

The series is based on Hirohiko Araki’s 17-volume manga which ran from 2000 to 2003 on Weekly Shonen Jump. David Production will return to produce it.

While the date is yet to be announced, ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean’ will premiere worldwide in December only on Netflix.
