Keery was part of a recent press conference where he spoke about the joys and challenges that the cast encountered while filming the upcoming season.

He stated: “The joys of filming are pretty much the same, shooting with the group of people that we have and working with the cast and crew. We also have some new additions to the cast who were really fun to get to know.

On the challenges they faced, Keery added: “Working within the modern constraints of COVID on set, just like any other production although it was still a blast to film. I am so glad that people can finally watch it.”

Keery plays Steve Harrington, who started off as the popular kid with an unbearable attitude but he slowly evolved into a caring and more likeable person and also developed a strong bond with Gaten Matarazzo’s Dustin. Steve serves as a mother hen figure for the young boys of the DnD gang in season 3.

He also formed a friendship with his colleague and classmate, Robin Buckley, played by Maya Hawke in the third season.
