Jawaani Jaaneman is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video

Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Alaya F starrer Jawaani Jaaneman is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The plot revolves around Jaswinder “Jazz” Singh, a 40-year-old who refuses to grow up. He frequents parties, drinks like there’s no tomorrow and flirts with different women.

His life turns upside down when he meets 21-year-old Tia, his possible daughter, whose mother he met in Amsterdam decades ago. What follows is a life-changing journey for Jazz.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Jawaani Jaaneman was released in theatres on January 31, managing an estimate 40 crores at the box office.

Even though its earnings were below par, the performances were appreciated. Khan received positive reviews, but the similarity of Jazz to his previous characters such as Gautam from Cocktail and Jai from Love Aaj Kal were mentioned.

Alaya received rave reviews for the film which served as her Bollywood debut. Many of the critics called her a ‘natural actor’ and praised her matured performance at such an early age in her career.

Speaking about the film at the launch of the song Gallan Kardi, Khan had said: “This story is about a man accepting his age, his responsibilities and his journey in life. I think the father is one of the most important people in our lives.

“A lot of people mess up being a father and create children that need therapy, that need friendship and that need all kinds of things to fix their problems because they are not ready to be responsible fathers.”

Jawaani Jaaneman has a 7.2 rating on IMDb and 64% on Rotten Tomatoes.
