Netflix has released the teaser of its upcoming movie, ‘Jagame Thandhiram’ starring Dhanush. The film was initially scheduled for a 2020 theatrical release by was postponed due to the pandemic.
The short clip gives a glimpse of a small-town gangster Madurai named Suruli who becomes a part of an international gang in London. The teaser is action-packed by giving the audience a look into Surili’s indigenous land — Madurai and of his life in London.
Aishwarya Lekshmi will be seen opposite Dhanush and the movie also stars Kalaiarasan and Joju George, and Game of Thrones fame actor, James Cosmo.
The movie has been directed by Karthik Subbaraj, who said in a statement:
“Jagame Thandhiram is my dream film. A script that is close to my heart. A story that needs to be told, and heard by audiences across the world. This film has found a new way to speak to its audience.”
