Jack is back for another season filled with mayhem and confusion. The teaser for season two of Jack Ryan has been released on Amazon Prime Video’s YouTube channel.
The season two will have the protagonist Jack Ryan, played by John Krasinski, relocating to an unnamed South American country. There he will counter the overridden chaos and possibly unveil a big conspiracy.
Describing season two, Amazon said: “After tracking a potentially suspicious shipment of illegal arms in the Venezuelan jungle, CIA Officer Jack Ryan heads down to South America to investigate.
“As Jack’s investigation threatens to uncover a far-reaching conspiracy, the President of Venezuela launches a counter-attack that hits home for Jack, leading him and his fellow operatives on a global mission spanning the United States, UK, Russia, and Venezuela to unravel the President’s nefarious plot and bring stability to a country on the brink of chaos. “
Season one of the show was met with a warm reception with praise for its action scenes and character development. The series has been created by Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland, who are known for their previous work Bates Motel and Mile 22 respectively.
The character of Jack Ryan was originally created by popular American novelist Tom Clancy. However, he made his debut in mainstream cinema through season one of Jack Ryan.
The premiere date for season two is unknown as of yet but the teaser has the viewers on the edge of their seats.
