Netflix has announced that its upcoming rom-com ‘Irish Wish’ will also feature Alexander Vlahos (Outlander, Sanditon, Versailles), Ayesha Curry (About Last Night, A Black Lady Sketch Show), Elizabeth Tan (Emily in Paris, The Singapore Grip), Ed Speleers (Outlander, Downton Abbey), and Jane Seymour (The Kominsky Method, Wedding Crashers).
The new cast will join the film’s previously announced lead, Lindsay Lohan, for the project.
Helmed by Janeen Damian, ‘Irish Wish’ revolves around Maddie, who decides to put aside her feelings when her dream man gets engaged to her best friend.
She agrees to be a bridesmaid at the ceremony in Ireland but a twist awaits. A few days before the wedding, Maddie makes a wish for true love and wakes up as the bride to be. However, her groom is not the man she hoped for.
The film has been written by Kirsten Hansen, Ron Oliver, Janeen Damian and Michael Damian.
The release date is not yet known.
