List of winners from CNN India’s iReel Awards 2019

The 2019’s instalment of CNN’s iReel Awards was held on September 23, 2019. While Netflix India’s reality-based thriller Delhi Crime dominated most categories, and here’s the complete list of winners:

Breakthrough Artist of the Year: Radhika Apte

Best Actor Female (Drama): Shefali Shah – Delhi Crime

Best Actor Male (Drama): Pankaj Tripathi – Mirzapur

Best Drama: Delhi Crime

Best Actor Female (Comedy): Mithila Palkar – Little Things 2

Best Actor Male (Comedy): Amol Parashar – TVF Tripling 2

Best Comedy: Little Things 2

Best Supporting Actor Female: Amruta Shubhash – Sacred Games 2

Best Supporting Actor Male: Divyenndu Sharma – Mirzapur

Best Writing (Drama): Richie Mehta – Delhi Crime

Best Writing (Comedy): Nikhil Vijay – TVF Gullak

Best Non-Fiction Show: Comicstaan 2

Best Music: Alokananda Dasgupta – Sacred Games 2

This year’s awards mark the second edition go the iReel Award series. The event was held at JW Marriot, Mumbai. The set of awards comprised of 12 categories. Winners of each category were picked by a combination of jury and audience polls.

Other nominees included much loved names such as Amazon Prime Video’s Made in Heaven (MIH), Four More Shots Please! and Netflix’s Typewriter.

Popular stars from the web-space like Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Dia Mirza and Ranvir Shorey also made it to the nominations for their respective shows.

From ZEE5: RejctX, Kaafir, Rangbaaz and Karenjit Kaur 2

From Hotstar: The Office, Criminal Justice and The Roar of the Lion

From TVF: Kota Factory, Aam Aadmi Family and Girls Hostel

The starry event was attended by admired actors like Sumeet Vyas, Surveen Chawla, Aparshakti Khurrana, Karan Tacker, Gulshan Devaiah and Ravi Dubey.

While Khurrana presented the award of Best Actor Male (Drama) to Pankaj Tripathi, Stree’s Rajkummar Rao presented the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award to Apte.
