Discovery Plus and Discovery Channel India have announced that Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar, is all set to feature in an episode of Into The Wild with Bear Grylls, alongside the master survivor.
Into The Wild follows major celebrities as they accompany Grylls on a 48 hour adventure in harsh conditions. He introduces them to various survival methods which includes procuring food and shelter, while trying to not become food themselves.
According to the official description for this episode:
Get ready for the biggest showdown on screen as the Khiladi Akshay Kumar makes his journey into the wild with Bear Grylls. Watch him tame the wilderness, first on the Discovery Plus App.
The feature with Kumar will premiere digitally on the Discovery Plus app on September 11 followed by a television broadcast on Discovery Channel on September 14.
Other prominent faces from India to have appeared alongside Grylls include Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South Indian superstar Rajinikanth.
