Netflix’s Belgian apocalyptic sci-fi thriller ‘Into The Night’ will be returning with a second season, the platform has confirmed.
The web series’s first season revolved around a group of passengers in an airplane, who discover that the sun is killing people around the world. They must travel at night and find a way to escape the impending doom.
Creator and writer Jason George said in a statement:
“We’ve been thrilled by the global response to Into the Night, and I’m excited to share that we’ll be doing a second season. It’s been amazing to see how fans across the world have connected with the multinational passengers and crew of BE Airways Flight 21. We are excited to continue their journey.“
Into the night is the latest in Netflix’s foreign-language shows to gain worldwide popularity, joining the likes of Dark and Money Heist.
