ALTBalaji has seen major success at Inkspell’s The Decade Awards, taking home major trophies. A subsidiary of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, the Indian based subscription platform has biggest database of Indian content.
The shows that have won big for ALTBalaji are Mentalhood, Apharan, Home, Ragini MMS Returns Season 2, Booo Sabki Phategi, The Verdict – The State vs. Nanavati along with its CSR initiative, Breast Buffer campaign, in different categories.
The rhythm was set for the platform as The Verdict – The State vs. Nanavati bagged the Drama Content of the Decade Award. Other popular shows like Home, Ragini MMS Returns 2, and Booo Sabki Phategi were won in the Motivational Content, Horror Content, and Humorous Content of The Decade categories, respectively.
ALTBalaji came into the limelight with its show, The Test Case starring Nimrat Kaur and has since climbed the graph of OTT platforms dominance.
The Platform however, has received its own share of criticism from netizens when one of its adult shows was seen disrespecting the Indian army uniform.
