Indian parents deconstructed in FilterCopy's new video

FilterCopy’s newest video ‘When You Grow Up With Strict Desi Parents’ starring Ayush Mehra, Deepika Amin, Karishma Singh and Rituraj Singh portrays the life of a young adult living with strict Indian parents.
The video highlights elements from the daily life of a young boy who wants to start his own photography business online. It also jokingly branches into regular issues that revolve around middle-class families like asking for permissions to go on a trip with friends, quitting a stable job and maintaining a relationship.
It is relatable on many levels for the young Indian crowd as it includes a mini-monologue by Mehra that is inspired by Kartik Aaryan’s monologue from Pyaar Ka Punchnama (part one)-a movie that did particularly well with the same audience.
Written by Sejal Badla and in association with BigRock.co, the quirky video ends with Mehra finally launching and running a successful photography business online.
