I for India: 80+ celebrities come together for biggest ever live concert

Celebrities from all across India are coming together for the biggest live concert called I for India to raise funds for those affected by COVID-19.

All funds raised from the concert will be donated to Give India – one of India’s largest online donation platforms. Give India has set up an India COVID Response Fund to help “those who have no work and no home”.

“India’s leading actors, musicians, singers, sportspersons and industrialists” at I for India will entertain audiences and pay tribute to frontline workers.

The stellar list of celebrities that are a part of the concert includes Bollywood stars like Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan amongst others.

It also includes a great deal of musicians, rappers and singers like A R Rahman, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, DIVINE, Ustad Zakir Hussain and Pritam.

The list goes on with sportspersons like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Sania Mirza.

The lineup also includes international celebrities like Sophie Turner, Lilly Singh, Mick Jagger, Jack Black, Will Smith, Mindy Kaling and more.

Participating members made the announcement just days after the passing of two legendary Bollywood stars Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor passed away due to illnesses.

I for India will be aired live on Facebook on May 3, 2020 at 7:30pm IST.
