Disney+ Hotstar released the trailer for its new original web series, Hundred. The action-comedy show is set to release on April 25 on Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
The trailer reveals that the web series follows the life of two women—Netra and ACP Saumya. Netra finds out that she is sick and only has hundred days to live. She decides to experience these days to the fullest and try things that she would never dare to otherwise.
ACP Saumya, on the other hand, is sick of being undermined by her boss. She wants to handle real cases, but she is never given a chance. Before she gets permanently shifted to a desk job, she realises that she might have a chance to prove herself with Netra’s help.
The web series revolves around this duo and their misadventures. The combination of Netra’s unpredictability and Saumya’s determination will result in some hilarious situations that will spell disaster.
Hundred stars Lara Dutta and Rinku Rajguru in the lead roles. Apart from them, the cast also includes Karan Wahi, Sudhanshu Pandey, Parmeet Sethi, among others.
The show is directed by Ruchi Narain, Ashutosh Shah and Taher Shabbir.
Actress Lara Dutta while discussing the show stated:
The makers have carefully scripted the show to bring alive action and humour in a very entertaining way. One of the many reasons I chose to do the show is because I have never played a cop on screen and my character is trying hard to survive in a man’s world. She has very interesting dynamics with the people in her life and the more complex a situation, the more she thrives. She is nothing like me in real life.
