Hrithik Roshan is all set to make his digital debut with Disney+ Hotstar’s Indian adaptation of The Night Manager.
As per reports, Hrithik Roshan had been in talks with Disney+ Hotstar since months and has finally decided to go ahead with the project. The actor will kickstart shooting for the same in March 2021.
The Night Manager is a British miniseries with Tom Hiddleston, who is known for his role as the supervillain Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in the lead.
It also stars Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, David Harewood, Tom Hollander and Elizabeth Debicki among others.
In the Indian adaptation of the show, Roshan will play Hiddleston’s part and will be seen as a soldier-turned-hotel manager who is hired by a government agent to infiltrate the inner circle of an arms dealer.
The Disney+ Hotstar project is being labelled as India’s most expensive Hotstar series till date.
A source further revealed that Sandeep Modi has been roped in to direct the espionage thriller. Modi previously co-directed the Sushmita Sen starrer Aarya.
The director will reportedly begin with the pre-production of The Night Manager after finishing work on the second season of Aarya.
