First look photos from the sets of Game of Thrones prequel ‘House of the Dragon’ have been released on the official Twitter handle of the show. The series will be based on George RR Martin’s book series ‘Fire and Blood’.
Co-created by George RR Martin and Ryan Condal, the series is set to release with ten episodes on HBO. As per the released pictures, the show stars Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower and Steve Toussaint as The Sea Snake.
Set in a time frame about 300 years prior to the GoT time period, ‘House of the Dragon’ surrounds the Targaryens.
